Why does an entire Hispanic family, including three children and at least one grandparent, come into an exam room with their sick Chihuahua?
Why do clients want to vaccinate to protect from parvovirus when their dog already has parvo?
Why do so many gay men bring their dogs into the clinic with real or imagined butt problems?
Why do gay women or gay men couples bicker in the exam room more than heterosexual couples?
Why do clients laugh when their dog snarls and tries to bite me?
Why do clients talk to me when I have my ears plugged with a stethoscope?
Why do I linger on a heartbeat just to take a break from having to listen to people talk?
Why do I continue to have nightmares about an imaginary dog in the hospital that I�ve forgotten about? (I�ve even woken HB a couple times with the need to give fluids to his imaginary dog).
Why do people call and expect a lengthy conversation that they would never expect of their own (human) doctor?
Why do some people want to bathe their puppy weekly?
And, why are there so many ads for Viagra or Cialis during NFL football?
